How should currency be brought into the country? 

• Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. 
• The best exchange rate is to use credit cards whenever possible (if they have no international fees).
• You can use a debit/ATM card  to withdraw money from an ATM, usually for a 5 Euro fee.
• Credit cards are fine; just make sure you call your credit card company and let them know that you will be traveling to Croatia so they won’t block your account for security reasons.
